Documentation Required for e-visa Application:

Earlier, Indian visa requirements were really huge for the applicant to apply. Obviously, e-Visa has made the process very convenient and easy. After filling the application form carefully, the applicant has to upload all the documents online as per the type of visa applied for. You can find a detailed list of mandatory documents below:

e-Tourist Visa:

• Scanned copy of Details page of the passport displaying the photograph and details completely
• If visiting for any short term course, scanned copy of the letter institute on its institute letterhead
• Scanned copy of the letter from the organization if traveling for short duration voluntary work

e-Business Visa:

• Scanned copy of details page of the passport displaying the photograph and details completely
• Scanned copy of our company business visiting card
• Any letter the invitation from any indian company with which you are expecting to conduct the business (optional)

e-Medical Visa:

• Scanned copy of details page of the passport displaying the photograph and details completely
• Scanned copy of the letter from the Indian hospital on its letterhead including the date of admission suggested by the doctor.

e-Conference visa:

• Scanned copy of details page of the passport displaying the photograph and details completely
• Scanned copy of invitation from the organizer of the event
• Scanned copy of the political clearance letter from the Ministry of External Affairs
• Clearance of event letter from the Ministry of Home Affairs

Along with these documents, the applicant has to upload a color photograph that meets all the following requirements:

• Photograph should be in JPEG format
• The size of the photograph should be minimum 10 KB and not more than 1 MB
• The width and height of the photograph should be equal
• Glasses should not be worn.
• Background should be white or a simple light color
• There should be no shadow in the photo
• The photo must be without borders

The scanned copy of the information page of the passport displaying the photograph and details should be uploaded in PDF. The size should be between 10 kb to 300 kb. Required documents to be uploaded for business/medical purposes should be in PDF. The size limit of documents should not exceed 10 KB or 300 KB.

All documents, whether business cards or invitation letters, must be written in the English language. Documents uploaded in any other language will be rejected.
