Make sure you make only one application for a passport as submitting multiple applications may result in rejection of applications in future.

To get any information regarding the old existing/ lost Application ID before filling any new form the applicant can contact the Indian Visa Help Center. Once the application is submitted, it is not possible to modify it later, so before applying, enter the correct information in the proper manner.

Indian Destination Ports that accept e-Visas

There are total 28 international airports in India that accept entry through e-Visa India and they are:- Gaya, Guwahati, Hyderabad, Jaipur, Kolkata, Lucknow, Madurai, Mangalore, Port Blair, Pune, Tiruchirappalli, Trivandrum, Varanasi, Nagpur and Visakhapatnam.

Apart from international ports, there are 5 more ports where Indian e-visa entries are accepted- Kochi, Goa, Mangalore, Mumbai and Chennai.

The Government of India has also set up separate help desks, medical and immigration counters to assist tourists at some airports: Delhi, Mumbai, Kolkata, Chennai, Bangalore and Hyderabad.

After your arrival through e-Visa, you can return to your country through any immigration point in India.

The applicant has to carry the Electronic Travel Authorization which is provided by India with him at the time of arrival in India.

The biometric details (scanned fingerprints) of the e-visa applicant will be captured at the destination port in India on arrival.

The applicant is not allowed to visit any restricted/protected and cantonment areas without any prior intimation from the designated authority.
